The Hatha/philo is reserved for students who have attended the studio regularly for at least a y ear or have the desire to progress in all areas, asanas, pranayama, mantras, mudras, m editation, chants, kirtans but also in the teaching of yoga philosophy, Mahabharata, Bagavad G ita, Yoga Sutras.

Students sign up for a yearly subscription for a daily personal practice and a minimum of 3 indoor classes per week.

The Sivananda Method has its roots in the lineage of Vedanta and the teachings of Swami Sivananda.
It is a classical, ancestral Hatha Yoga. The method has remained unchanged since its foundation and was introduced to the West in 1959.
Sivananda Hatha Yoga is a more postural form of Hatha Yoga, but can also be practiced in a continuous flow that is open to all levels, from beginners to the most advanced.

The practice is based on 12 basic postures and all their variations. Supported by the breath and sometimes by conscious meditation, each posture becomes an opportunity to embody its qualities to invite them, little by little, in the daily life. The postures follow one another without any state of mind (for those who are used to it, eyes closed), cut off from the outside world and its fluctuations. There is no performance, no judgment, no comparison. Only the present moment and the gratitude of what the body offers during this practice counts. The movements are slow, rhythmic and accompanied by conscious and deep breathing. The session ends with a relaxation and a mantra at the end of the class.
